Salchichón vela (candlestick sausage) is the mix of ground meat, exclusively from pigs, seasoned with sea salt, pepper and garlic, mixed and made into sausages, which has undergone a maturing/drying process that guarantees good stability, as well as a characteristic aroma and flavour.

The cut is characterised by finely ground mince and a shiny colour from the fat infiltration in the extensively reared pork muscles.
