Wear Now, Wear Later: Fall 2018

August 28th—2018

For all of you summer fashion lovers, don’t despair…there are so many transitional pieces you can continue to wear well into the cooler months. The calendar may say summer is coming to an end, but when it comes to style, always beat to your personal drum.

Print dresses are perhaps the most versatile pieces as they flow effortlessly from your beach holiday to the streets of the city. While strappy, little sundresses don’t necessarily make the fall cut, your maxi styles look oh-so chic with a leather jacket and a pair of boots and your midi versions get a cool-girl, trans seasonal update with dad sneakers and a cozy knitwear.

Are you as obsessed with summer’s feminine blouses as we are? From the ethereal to the structured, they add a subtle sensuality to fall’s most coveted desk-to-dinner pencil skirts. Sleeve details is key…the more ornate the better. We adore puff sleeve blouses for all of your weekend staycation activities, especially with must-have denim…dress them up, dress them down, always play with your style. Zero rules!

Calling all shoes lovers…the summer to fall transition can be a bit daunting. When to wear boots, store your sandals keeps even the most adept fashionista up at night. Here is a simple guide. Closed-toe kitten heels and mules are 100% fall-approved. We love them with cropped pants, structured skirts and of course jeans. Update your collection with pointed toes for a style power play. Trainers, the chunkier the better, are to be worn with almost everything. The dad sneaker trend is simply picking up momentum. Run, don’t walk to buy a pair if you are the ultimate mixologist…these may not be for the fashion faint of heart.

Remember, we don’t always prescribe to the rules of style, which is why handbag trends give us the fluidity we crave. 2018’s bucket bag craze will surely continue and top handle minis will still have major street cred. Look for edgy hardware updates, more designed handles and of course sophisticated darker hues. And although, we couldn’t get enough of straw everything this summer, your seaside selects simply have to be retired as soon as the winter solstice begins.

The moral of this transitional story…Fall/Winter 2018 is coming soon and we couldn’t be more excited!
