Winter is the time to getaway…the chill, the snow (for some of us) can make your daily routine more challenging, especially when it comes to fashion. Many of us flock to the beach during the Jan/Feb period, but others prefer to seek out the snow and nothing compares to the ski resort fashion show on the slopes.

The Ski Sweater

We are loving ski-inspired style right now, so whether vacationing in Gstaad or Aspen, or simply embracing the elements at home, these are the pieces you have to own. Sweaters that take a reference from sports are on our It-List. Choose colorblocked designs or sleek a turtleneck to emulate downhill style and then pair with some of your other fashion favorites for that luxury mashup we all covet. Finish off the look with oversized, goggle-like sunglasses and transport yourself to the peak.

Après-Ski Style

What you wear on the slopes is equally as important as what you where after the slopes, so don’t forget to think about your style once the ski boots come off. We are loving the boldness of neon paired with rich neutrals for a impact-making look. Choose an of-the-moment, ski-suit inspired jumpsuit and layer over an electric orange hue or top your favorite pieces with a bright puffer jacket. The beauty of these versatile pieces is that they also look equally at home on the streets of Madrid, New York City or Hong Kong. Who says you can’t look chic in the cold!
