What were the highlights of your trip to Madrid?
I absolutely loved Madrid. I am a foodie and the city presented so many incredible options. I also loved the shopping – discovering small local stores as well as bigger brands in luxury stores like El Corte Ingles.
What was your favorite Spanish dish?
I love all sorts of Tapas! Anything with tomato and jamon.
What are your overall thoughts on Spanish fashion?
Spain is at the forefront of style. It’s effortless and cool. It’s a trendsetting city with a timeless bohemian vibe to it.

Which sites and venues would you recommend to others traveling to Madrid?
I loved shooting at Buen Retiro Park with El Corte Ingles and definitely recommend it. It’s a 19th century park with fountains and incredible architecture as well as a lake in the middle. Plaza Mayor is another must-see. It’s the city’s main square and has a wonderful historical aura when you step foot there.
If you were to plan the perfect Madrid vacation for your fans in the Middle East, what would the itinerary be?
I would definitely have them sight-see for a few days at the above sites. Toni 2 Bar is a definite-go to in the evening after dinner at Ten Con Ten. Toni 2 at piano bar with incredibly talented older men playing the piano and singing. The intimate vibe and contagious energy is inimitable anywhere in the world. I would recommend going into authentic places for lunch. I discovered Cutting Room, a wonderful local bar / restaurant with great tapas.

How would you describe your personal travel style?
I love walking around in summer dresses as well as cool loafers or slip on flats. They’re comfortable and stylish. I also like to wear shorts with tops and cute espadrilles. I usually dress according to the city I’m in, so in Spain I found it very Spanish compared to when I am in Dubai or New York.
